Dear Students of Bilcare Research Academy,
It is my great pleasure to write to you today to inform you of an exciting partnership that was signed between Bilcare and the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP), a not for profit global organization based in the United States, on April 20, 2007.
Since last year, representatives of Bilcare, including Dr. Praful R Naik and Mr. Santosh Hegde and of ACRP have met regarding our mutual interest in working together to enhance the capability, competency and expertise of the professionals engaged in developing, monitoring, conducting and supervising clinical trials in India and other Asian countries by way of specialized training programs. The first phase of our partnership will focus on programs in India and Singapore, to be followed in a second phase by Thailand, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and China.
Bilcare Research Academy has agreed to blend the specialized courses of ACRP (please visit www.acrpnet.org for more information) into its curriculum along with the customized courses it has developed for professionals engaged in clinical research. Bilcare and ACRP have furthermore agreed to award the participants of such education programs certificates of completion that will be jointly endorsed by both Bilcare and ACRP.
Additionally, an ACRP chapter will be established in India later this year, with its members joining the ranks of our other chapters in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Germany, Israel, Serbia, South Africa, The Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the United States.
We will share more details of this brand new venture with you in the weeks and months ahead. In the meantime, please know that all of the members and staff of ACRP are looking forward to strengthening the ties between our organizations and reaping the mutual benefits that are sure to come from our partnership.
